Yes, I have many plans for the chalk board paint! I didn't make myself clear on my question so I deleted it. I'll paint the walls solid when I finally go get paint!

love it! my opinion: I'd paint the sidewalls a solid color, regular paint. will you put the chalkboard finish anywhere else in the house for the kids to use?

I generally leave the snowmen out until the end of February (I do put the explicitly Christmas decorations away, though!). Otherwise my appetite for spring is out of control! :)

agree! i heard one of the elves say they saw santa write 'control freaks' by some of their meddling names. uh-oh, naughty = no gifts!!! leave santa alone. he needs "that little extra" because of the frigid temps. i'm jumping off my soapbox.
